GPSNR's Desired State of the Natural Rubber Supply Chain

What does a fair, equitable and environmentally sound global natural rubber supply chain look like?

GPSNR identifies its vision for a Desired State of the natural rubber supply chain, which also includes specific characteristics that define a sustainable natural rubber supply chain. While it is widely recognized that some of the characteristics cannot be directly impacted by members of GPSNR, it is still important to identify these characteristics to not lose sight of those that can be indirectly influenced or impacted. In the event of a change in circumstances, this document gives GPSNR and its members the opportunity to directly impact these characteristics in the future.

The Desired State informs GPSNR’s development of a Theory of Change, which enables the platform to identify pathways and develop interventions that can help bring about the Desired State. GPSNR will also define a set of impact measurements on key metrics which, together with GPSNR’s policies, programs and strategies, will be key drivers for moving the natural rubber supply chain towards the Desired State.
