FUND SUSTAINABILITY IN THE NATURAL RUBBER VALUE CHAIN
While we work towards a long term funding model, we’re kickstarting capacity building work with smallholders and industrial plantations in Thailand, Indonesia and Côte d’Ivoire.
FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES: CAPACITY BUILDING
As GPSNR’s long term funding model takes shape, you can help us implement capacity building programmes for smallholders in Indonesia and globally.
Global: Income Diversification & Rubber Agroforestry Workshops
To gather and distribute information on agroforestry practices in natural rubber systems globally by conducting 5 workshops.
For this, we need to raise USD 20,000 per workshop, up to USD 100,000 for all 5 workshops.
Indonesia: Disease Fighting (KSAPA)
To transfer knowledge and practical skills on disease fighting credibly and feasible within the given timeline, in an inclusive manner.
We’re looking to raise USD 225,000 for the planned project.
Future Smallholders Engagement Activities
Future projects
EUDR awareness
More capacity building projects (such as GAP and agroforestry) in more countries
To ensure inclusiveness and participation of smallholders:
Interpretation and translation for smallholders
Smallholders’ participation in meetings in Singapore and elsewhere (e.g., COP)
Expand outreach to more smallholders
**Please also note that the figures above do not reflect the entire amount needed for the projects, but covers immediate needs.
